Before joining Consol in 2002, Mike Arnold served as the CEO for McCain Foods (South Africa), as well as having held Executive Director positions at Irvin & Johnson and National Brands.

Before serving as Consol’s CFO, Karuna Nayager was the Financial Director for Cold Chain, a subsidiary of Imperial Holdings, from 2001 and 2004, and served as a Financial Manager at SABMiller.

Paul Curnow 2020

Paul Curnow joined Consol in 1998 and, after holding managerial positions including   Manufacturing Services Director and General Manager for Wadeville Operations, was promoted to Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Consol in 2019.

Dale Carolin

Dale Carolin joined Consol in 2001 and before his promotion to Senior Executive Marketing in 2015, Dale was the Executive Head of Sales and Marketing. Previously, he served as Marketing Executive at Ster-Kinekor and Abercrombie & Kent International.

Johan du Plessis worked at Kumba Resources and as Group Chief Information Architect for the ISCOR Group before joining Consol in 2002.

Stephen Van Eck

Stephen Van Eck has been with Consol since 2000 and was appointed to his current position in 2015, following his position as Financial Manager and later, General Manager for the Consol Bellville Factory. Before that, he worked for Stellenbosch Farmers Winery.

Johan Pool

Johan Pool joined Consol in 2001 as an Electronic Engineer Trainee, and has held various technical positions as well as Business Development Executive, before being promoted to Senior Executive Technical.

Henry Botha

Henry Botha joined Consol in 1995, he has held various manufacturing, engineering and managerial positions at the numerous plants, and most recently in Western and Eastern Africa,  before being promoted to Executive: Manufacturing Support - Africa. Prior to joining Consol Henry employed  by  Gencor and PG Bison.

Selemo Magatikele

Selemo Magatikele joined Consol in 2006, he has held the following positions : Group HR Business Partner, Plant Manager, General Manager (Wadeville) General Manager (Nigel). Prior to joining Consol, he was employed by Anglo Platinum, Ford SA, and PG Bison.

Joe Murethi

Joe started his career as an Audit Trainee at Coopers & Lybrand.He then joined Unga Group as Senior Internal Auditor. He served EABL / Diageo in East Africa, West Africa and also carried out various projects across the globe under Diageo. He rose in the audit function to become the Group Head of Audit & Risk, then  joined Central  Glass Industries (CGI) as the Head of Finance in 2010, promoted to GM CGI, in 2011.  He remained as GM even after CGI’s acquisition by Consol. In February 2019, his role was expanded to Regional General Manager – Eastern Africa,  covering both Consol Glass Kenya (CGK) as well as  Juniper Glass Industries  Sc.
